The Studio C Recreational Dance Program offers classes in Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Lyrical, Musical Theatre and Acro dance.  Children aged 7 to adult are welcomed to this program.

Our Recreational Classes offer something for everyone, and provide the opportunity for students to grow as dancers, without the higher level of commitment required for competitive dance.    Classes are conducted in a fun atmosphere while at the same time teaching appropriate dance technique and improving the abilities of the student.  Students are placed in classes according to both skill and age level.

 

Recreational dance classes are 45 minutes in length, once a week.  Many of our recreational dancers take multiple classes.

 

Students older than 7 will register for classes in Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Acro, Musical Theatre or Lyrical.  In all cases, students will improve their flexibility, technique, style and performance abilities.

Classes begin in September, and run until the end of May. At the end of the dance season, students will have the opportunity to perform on stage when we host our Annual Recital at Aultsville Theatre.

​

Our recreational dancers receive custom-made, personally-fitted costumes. These costumes are included in the dance fees.  Costumes are distributed during picture week which takes place in the month of May.
