Covid-19 Update

We ask that all dancers and parents please complete the following online self-assessment each day before coming into the studio.

With Ontario paused in Stage 3 of the reopening plan, we are able to open our doors once more!  We are so very grateful that we can finally offer in-person classes again.  We will continue to work closely with the guidelines from the EOHU, as well as put our own procedures into place to ensure the health and safety of both our dance families and our staff.  We are happy to share with you that all Studio C staff members are fully vaccinated.

Social distancing – due to capacity rules, our lobby is no longer open access, and we cannot allow parent observation each week.  As the situation evolves we will confirm observation procedures with you via email. Please note: a mask must be worn by anyone entering the studio lobby.

We’ve been hard at work all summer, establishing procedures that will keep us all safe!

What Our Staff Is Doing:

  • Wearing a mask if we need to come within 6 feet of our dancers and clients

  • Sanitizing the barre, the lobby chairs, doorknobs, and any other “high touch” areas between classes

  • Wearing a mask in the lobby

  • Washing our hands between classes

  • Cleaning and sanitizing the lobby and studio every night at the end of classes

  • Making responsible public health choices in our personal lives

We ask that you please respect the following protocols for the 2021-2022 Dance Season.

What We Need You To Do:

  • Conduct the Covid self assessment before arriving at the studio

  • Arrive only 5-10 minutes before your class, and walk your dancer to the door (Older dancers can be dropped off at the discretion of the parent)

  • Wait for your Instructor to meet you at the door, and let your dancer into the studio

  • Follow observation procedures

  • Sanitize your hands and take your temperature when you enter the building

  • Place your dance bag and water bottle in the designated areas

  • Wear a mask in the lobby (parents and dancers) Dancers may remove their mask once they are in their Dance Zone

  • Return at least 5 mins before the end of class, and meet your dancer at the door following their class

  • Don’t come to the studio if you are sick, have recently been sick, or were around someone who is sick

  • Don’t come to the studio if you have been diagnosed with Covid-19, or have been around someone who has been diagnosed with Covid-19

  • Let us know immediately if you find out that you have been exposed to Covid-19

  • Be patient with us as we try to get everything up and running again.

We are beyond excited to open our doors and see all of our dance families again! That said, we are committed to keeping everyone as safe as possible, and we promise to follow or surpass all EOHU guidelines regarding Social Distancing and sanitation.  We ask for your cooperation and support as we all work together to keep our dancers and our staff safe!

If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out.  We would love to hear from you.
