Pursuing Excellence
Senior Elite dancers train in an environment where expectations continue to increase both inside and outside the classroom.
Advanced choreography, demanding technical work, and challenging performance expectations require dancers to think independently, retain corrections efficiently, demonstrate strong rehearsal habits, and continually strive for improvement. Alongside technical development, dancers continue refining musicality, performance quality, versatility, and artistic expression while learning to perform with confidence, precision, and authenticity.
Success at this level is built upon consistent effort, personal responsibility, and a genuine commitment to growth.

Independent practice is an expected part of training at this level. Dancers are responsible for reviewing choreography, maintaining their strength and flexibility, applying corrections consistently, and arriving prepared for every rehearsal and performance.
As experienced members of the Competitive Program, Senior Elite dancers are also expected to model professionalism, respect, and leadership within the studio community.
Competition season
Throughout the fall and winter, dancers balance technical training with intensive choreography and rehearsal as they prepare for competition season.
In the spring, Senior Elite dancers represent Studio C at two regional competitions before concluding the season with performances at our Annual Year-End Recital.
Each performance reflects months of preparation, collaboration, and dedication from both dancers and instructors.

Beyond Studio C
For some dancers, the Senior Elite Program serves as preparation for post-secondary dance education or professional opportunities. For others, it represents the culmination of many years of dedication and a chance to finish their competitive journey surrounded by teammates, mentors, and lifelong friends.
Whatever path lies ahead, our goal is that every Senior Elite dancer leaves Studio C with exceptional technical training, meaningful performance experiences, lasting friendships, and the confidence to pursue future challenges both in dance and beyond.
