Instructor

Alexx grew up dancing at Studio C, beginning her training at the age of three and competing as a member of the Studio C Competitive Team until graduating from high school. As a competitive dancer, she earned numerous Overall and Judges’ Special Awards for her solo, duet, and group performances. She was also awarded a scholarship to train in Los Angeles with the Hollywood Summer Tour, where she had the opportunity to work with industry professionals.

 

As a teen and young adult, Alexx spent many years as a Studio C Class Assistant, developing her early teaching experience and building strong relationships with dancers throughout the studio. Even while pursuing her post-secondary education, she remained connected to Studio C and has continued to return to the classroom as an occasional instructor.

 

Alexx is a graduate of Queen’s University and holds a Master of Arts in Recreation & Leisure Studies from the University of Waterloo. She currently works with Hockey Canada.

 

Alexx is now continuing her development as a dance educator through teacher training with the Canadian Dance Teachers’ Association (CDTA), working toward her professional teaching qualifications. She remains a valued member of the Studio C faculty and a familiar face to many of our dancers.
